My Qualifications

  • Member ot ISRM (Institute of Soft Tissue Remedial Massage)

  • MBSR (Member of the British School of Reflexology)

    CPD courses attended:

Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Hot Stones with Massage, Myofascial Release, Understanding Back Pain & Understanding Neck Pain, KS Taping, Dry Cupping & Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage.

I qualified with the London School of Sports Massage with a level five diploma in Soft Tissue Massage Therapy which means that I am qualified to use a variety of soft tissue techniques such as MET (muscle energy techniques) , STR (soft tissue release) and NMT (neuromuscular techniques). All of these techniques interact with your nervous system to bring about a change within your body that may help you to feel better & most importantly keep moving!

I am a member of the Institute of Soft Tissue Therapists: ISRM is a registered BTEC centre that has established the BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy. It licenses a number of small independent schools who run the qualification. ISRM operates the internal validation process which is externally validated by BTEC.

Since qualifying with the London School of Sports Massage Therapy I have continued to expand on my existing knowledge by regularly attending Therapy Development Courses (as outlined above).

My aim is to continue to develop my massage therapy skills over the next three years by studying a Movement Therapy Diploma, which will include joint assessment, injury management & rehabilitation techniques (inc prehab).
